The buddy list screen allows users to view their buddy groups and the buddies online status at a glance. The "Offline" group contains all the buddies which are offline whereas the optional "Online" group displays all the buddies which are online. The "Recent Conversations" group contains a list of conversations as observed from the last 100 instant messages. The LED in the title bar depicts the online status of the signed in user. Each list item represents one buddy and displays the name of the buddy, the online status and the buddy icon. If there are unread messaged from a buddy, a red marker appears over the buddy icon indicating the number of unread messages received from that specific buddy. If the application looses the connection to the server, on the right side of the title bar the application displays an icon indicating the "Disconnected" status.
